ประเทศไทยครองชัยชนะในการแข่งขันเชลล์ อีโค-มาราธอน เอเชีย 2014 ถึง 3 ประเภทเชื้อเพลิง ทีมฮาวมัช เอทานอล (How Much Ethanol) จากวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีช่างฝีมือปัญจวิทยา กรุงเทพฯประสบความสำเร็จในระยะทางที่ 2,730 กิโลเมตรด้วยเชื้อเพลิงเอทานอลเพียงหนึ่งลิตร ถือเป็นสถิติสูงสุดในการแข่งขันของปีนี้และเทียบเท่ากับระยะทางจากกรุงมะนิลาไปยังกรุงจากาต้า โดยมีทีมเพื่อนๆจากประเทศไทย นำโดยวิทยาลัยเทคนิคสกลนครร่วมเป็น
